“Post-surgical infections can be severe, but there have been no reports that Gronkowski needed to have his surgical plates removed or exchanged or that he needed repeated procedures to clear the infection.”

Wondering what your thought is on the severity of symptoms in terms of how intense/distal the symptoms are? I would imagine non-radicular symptoms would be looked at much differently than someone who presents with dermatomal or peripheral distributions. Maybe the docs at USC saw severe enough radicular symptoms that yet couldn’t chance it?

Do you think he will be able to produce at close to 100% by fantasy playoffs Wks 14-16? I have a team with Vick and Ben as QB in a deep dynasty, and don’t know how overboard to go with trading for a 3rd QB. Even if Ben comes back by wk 14 will he be fully healthy, be able to make deep throws, etc.?
